Rohfilm Factory is a Leipzig and Berlin based film production company founded in 2016 by Karsten Stöter. It focusses on the development and production of feature films and serial formats for the international market.
In our development strategy and production we seek for the most difficult to reach: art in film. 2018 our Berlinale competition title 3 DAYS IN QUIBERON by Emily Atef won 7 German film awards (including best film).
Prior to Rohfilm Factory, Karsten co-founded Rohfilm in 2005 and has successfully produced 25 films until 2016, among others LORE by Cate Shortland, LUNCHBOX by Ritesh Batra and THE YOUNG KARL MARX by Raoul Peck.
